BH Cosmetics is famous for having different eyeshadow palettes, one for every occasion or person. They have 5 editions of their 120 eyshadows palette, and although it was really hard for me to pick one, I ended up buying the 2nd edition. This palette is the perfect option for those who need something affordable and are looking for a palette that’s really colorful. And I mean REALLY colorful.
This palette comes in a sturdy package, and it has a mirror. I don’t think I’ll ever use this mirror since it is too big to hold while doing my makeup. Anywho, let’s get into more details about the pigmentation, and if I think this palette is worth it or not. It retails for $17.99 and orders over $25 ship free on their website.
The top layer with 60 colors comes off and it can be quite bulky having those two pieces if you don’t have enough space on your desk or beauty vanity. The pans are really small if you compare to Morphe’s palettes, for instance. But then you think about the price you paid and oh well, it’s worth it.
WHAT ABOUT PIGMENTATION? The pigmentation is good, something you would expect from a palette like this. I have some swatches to show you:
This palette is overall great if you’re a makeup artist or if you are really into colorful makeup looks. Since I bought this palette I have just used it once. It’s bulky, not good for traveling and I don’t see myself reaching for it again. This palette is worth it if you’re into colorful eyeshadows and are looking for a palette with a lot of eyeshadows, but if you’re a pro makeup artist or like more neutral colors, this is not the right one for you. I wouldn’t recommend it.
